IPWHOIS and RSL blacklists have gone

The IPWHOIS DNS blacklist ("rfc-ignorant.org") has been retired by its owner and RSL ("visi.com Relay Stop List (RSL)") seem to be useless recently. It is recommended to stop using these DNS blacklists as they will not catch any spam.

The updated Win32.Novarg@mm protection script is now available. The new version also recognizes some typical message contents of the "B" variant (Win32.Novarg.B@mm) and logs the source IP address. Get the script from the Scripts & Tools section.

To update your current version, it is enough to simply overwrite the current novarg.js with the new one.

Easynet.nl blacklists discontinued

The blacklists on the easynet.nl domain will be discontinued by 1st of December, 2003. The lists will contain test records only, they will return "not listed" for any other queries. Please stop using these lists after that time.
